At The Switch, we believe that every student should have first-hand experience of the workplace to help them explore career opportunities, build their skills and expand their networks. Our Industry Insight Days give students the opportunity to safely engage with the world of work, complete tasks related to their chosen industry and receive feedback from industry professionals.
Industry insights are an important step on a student’s pathway to employment and our virtual event not only prepares them for the post-pandemic workplace but builds their confidence and knowledge as they meet professionals from their chosen industry.
As a professional from a specific industry, you will listen to a group presentation and give feedback. Students will ask questions about your career journey, the industry and the world of work.
Using your experience and knowledge you can share tips and provide vital guidance.

Our online booking portal makes it easy to choose the event, date, format and location to suit you.
No prior training is required. As this is a one-off activity volunteers do not need to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
