Tell us a bit about yourself?
I am originally from Cheshire, but I have been living down in London for nearly 3 years now. My background is in languages – I studied Spanish, French and Portuguese at university.
Where did you work before The Switch?
My most recent work was as a project manager for a translation company. Before that previously worked for as a Team Mentor for an educational not-for-profit organisation and as a Campaigns Coordinator at my university’s raising and giving society.
What are you looking forward to working at The Switch?
I am looking forward to hearing from young people and identifying the areas in which an alumni network would really benefit them. I am looking to make some exciting developments and events that I hope will make a tangible impact to young peoples’ lives.
Any hobbies?
In my free time I love to travel (when Covid permits!), salsa dancing and Zumba.
What is one thing you have learnt over this very strange time?
That we are more resilient than we give ourselves credit for. I think a lot of people have surprised themselves at how they have coped and adapted to change in this crisis.
