Last week we welcomed Beth Gosschalk to team THEBP as our new Project Coordinator in our Secondary Schools Team. As the team is still working from home most of the time, we asked Beth some questions to help the team and everyone else learn a little bit more about her.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I have just moved back to North London after graduating from the University of Nottingham with a Masters in Politics and Contemporary History.
Where did you work before THEBP?
Whilst at university I worked as an Events Manager at an events company affiliated with the University of Nottingham’s Students’ Union. I also ran workshops for prospective students and volunteered at my local Trussell Trust food bank.
What are you looking forward to working at THEBP?
I have always dreamed about working for a charity and cannot wait to get stuck in and work towards such an important cause. I look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
I love cooking, travelling and spending time with my friends, and I’m a sucker for a good Netflix series.
What is one thing you have learnt over this very strange time?
The importance of kindness and compassion and going that little bit further to look out for other people.
