Tell us a bit about yourself?

Hello! My name is Dominique and I’ve just graduated from the University of Kent, where I was studying English & American Literature and French.

Where did you work before The Switch?

While at university, I worked as a student ambassador and outreach tutor. I helped to deliver workshops to secondary school students about higher and further education options.

What are you looking forward to working at The Switch?

I’m really looking forward to being a part of the work experience team and helping to bring exciting learning opportunities and experiences to the young people in Tower Hamlets.

Any hobbies?

I’m a keen reader and gardener. I also love to cook and bake!

What is one thing you have learnt over the last few years of adversity?

Over the last few years, I’ve learnt the importance of taking time for myself. With hybrid working/studying becoming the norm, I’ve found that taking regular breaks and trying to establish a work-life balance has been really valuable for my wellbeing.

Meet the rest of the team
