Welcome to our new Project Coordinator, Hafiz Rahman!

This month we welcomed Hafiz Rahman to team Switch as one of our new Project Coordinators in our recently returned Work Experience team. Hafiz is joining our Secondary Team and is taking part in the Charity Works Graduate Scheme. Find out more about Hafiz below.

Tell us a bit about yourself?

Fairly recent graduate from Goldsmiths, University of London in Economics. Lived and grown up in the East End for most my life!

Where did you work before The Switch?

I was working as a Mathematics Tutor in a Tuition Centre based in Manor Park, learnt a great deal with how to organise not only groups of students but with the management of other staff members alongside liaising with parents/guardians on top of that. Knowing how to best engage students of that age group was a great learning experience to bring into The Switch.

What are you looking forward to working at The Switch?

Learning from the many talented people working here and getting stuck into the various tasks and events that will be thrown my way. Every day is a learning day!

Any hobbies?

Football (both playing and watching but injuries and lack of time have meant the former has had to suffer a bit), getting into new tech and economics related ventures, travelling and exploring as much as I can and watching more shows that I can mention here.

What is one thing you have learnt over this very strange few years?

Walking is underrated.
