This month we welcomed Jane Mortimore to team Switch as our new Fundraising Campaign Lead. Jane is joining our Partnerships Team for 8 months and will be working on our 30th year campaigns. Jane is one of four new members of staff we welcomed this month, so look out for their introductions. Find out more about Jane below.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I’m married with a grown-up son. I was born in Muswell Hill, grew up in Friern Barnet, went to school in Finchley and now live in Palmers Green, so I am a north Londoner through and through!
Where did you work before The Switch?
I worked as Corporate Responsibility Manager at TI Media – a media company that published more than 40 magazines, both in print and with digital content. Some well-known brands were Marie Claire, TV Times, Country Life and NME.
What are you looking forward to working at The Switch?
I am looking forward to being part of a team that really cares about making a difference to young people’s lives and delivering on that.
Any hobbies?
I’m a history nerd and I love theatre and film.
What is one thing you have learnt over this very strange time?
How much I enjoy staycations and finding new, wonderful places to holiday in the UK. I hate airports and flying and have been pleased to avoid that.
