
After the success of connectED in February, we are excited to announce that we will continue to support young people’s career development during these uncertain times with the return of connectED! Series 2 will be packed with even more business volunteers talking about key world of work topics for primary and secondary aged pupils. Now more than ever it’s vital for young people to engage in activities about their positive future steps.

Super Speakers – Primary Focus

Super Speakers is a series of live talks for upper key stage 2 children that cover relevant and engaging topics about working life to increase their understanding on how the skills they’re learning now will benefit them in the future.
In a live webinar format, lasting approx. 20 minutes in total, the talks are hosted by an experienced THEBP facilitator and supported by business volunteers.

The Power of STEM

It’s British Science Week (8th – 14th March) and we have asked our Super Speakers to talk about their jobs in STEM. Discover how they use STEM at work and how you can apply your STEM skills in your future job.
The Power of Super Speaking
Thursday, 18th March: 10am – 10.20am
Learn top tips and advice from business professionals as you listen to their experiences with public speaking. Discover how they overcame their public speaking challenges to become Super Speakers!
The Power of Teamwork

Listen to our Super Speakers as they share their achievements of when they used the power of teamwork.
Inspirational Speakers – Secondary Focus

Inspirational Speakers is a series of webinars for secondary school students that cover relevant and engaging topics that focus on developing skills that they can benefit from now, as well as how they can be utilised during employment.
In a live webinar format, which now lasts an approx. 45 minutes in total, will be hosted by an experienced THEBP facilitator and supported by business volunteers.

To celebrate #InternationalWomensDay2021 we’re hosting a panel discussing the stereotypes and challenges women face. Business volunteers will share real experiences and provide practical solutions to support young women. From challenge comes change, so join us as we #ChooseToChallenge.

A chance to gain two perspectives and hear from experienced leaders about the importance of hiring young talent into their business as well as emerging leaders who are eager to share their ideas.
