Tell us a bit about yourself?
I’m a former teacher and musician with creative ambitions as a writer.
Where did you work before The Switch?
I taught music and Latin in secondary schools for eight years, mostly in southwest London. I left teaching a couple of years ago and divided my time between singing freelance, writing a novel, and running music and drama workshops in primary schools in the South East.
What are you most looking forward to working at The Switch?
I am looking forward to exploring a different area of education, having previously worked mostly in arts education.
Any hobbies?
I enjoy playing tennis, playing the piano, and singing.
What is one thing you have learnt over the last few years of adversity?
That a lack of direction ≠ failure.
