Welcome to our new Project Coordinator, Ellie Bulloch!

This month we welcomed Ellie Bulloch to team Switch as one of our new Project Coordinators in our recently returned Work Experience team. Ellie is joining our Secondary Team and is taking part in the Charity Works Graduate Scheme. Find out more about Ellie below.

Tell us a bit about yourself?

I am originally from Newcastle and have just moved to London after completing a research masters in modern languages at the University of Nottingham.

Where did you work before The Switch?

Whilst at university I did a lot of work as a Student Ambassador. My main role was working with primary and secondary school students to encourage them to start thinking about university and learn more about academic and student life. I also tutored French students in English due to my background in languages.

What are you looking forward to working at The Switch?

I’m looking forward to making positive change in the local community and contributing to projects that really make a difference in young people’s lives.

Any hobbies?

I enjoy ballroom and latin dancing in my spare time (favourite dance is probably cha cha or jive!). I also love art, so I’m excited to visit all of the different galleries in London!

What is one thing you have learnt over this very strange few years?

A little kindness goes a long way! Also, that pub quizzes are much better in person
