On Wednesday December 5th, Tower Hamlets EBP and Barclays came together to host an Alumni Networking event for 25 of our talented alumni members.
The event was opened by Esra Turk (MD at Barclays & Trustee at THEBP) who shared some inspirational words about her own story of growing up as a young adult and the bold choices she needed to make in order to become successful.
Our alumni members got to take part in a speed networking session with 10 Barclays employees and hear about the many different career routes each individual took to get to where they are today. Alumni members also got to hear about the fantastic opportunities provided by Barclays through their apprenticeship and graduate programmes (and meet some of the successful recruits).
All in all, the event was a great success and provided real motivation for our alumni members to think about their futures.
