Virtual Work Experience provides students with experience of the post-pandemic workplace. Students will complete tasks related to their chosen industry, build confidence as they develop their virtual skills and meet industry professionals who will offer advice and feedback.    

This event will take place on Zoom. The school name shown is the school you will be working with, not the location.

You will receive the briefing documents and Zoom details approximately one week before the event.

Please note, to participate in this event you must have access to Zoom and a working microphone and camera on your PC or laptop.

As part of this programme, students will deliver a group presentation and receive feedback from industry professionals.

Volunteer role:

As a volunteer you will…

  • Listen to a group presentation based on an industry related task
  • Give feedback on the content and delivery of the presentation
  • Provide insight into the industry by sharing your experience and offering tips and advice

Preparation:

You do not need to prepare anything in advance.
